MORTGAGE SALE
Default has been made in the conditions of a mortgage made by Charles Christopher Hopkins, Trustee of the Charles Christopher Living Trust (“Mortgagor”), to William L. Martin, Trustee of the William L. Martin Revocable Trust (“Mortgagee”), dated November 1, 2005, and recorded on November 4, 2005, in Liber 714, pages 680-683, Charlevoix County Register of Deeds, Michigan, on which mortgage there is claimed to be due as of May 31, 2013 is the sum of $957,215.48, including interest at 7% per annum.
Under the power of sale contained in said mortgage and the statute in such case made and provided, notice is hereby given that said mortgage will be foreclosed by a sale of the mortgaged premises, or some part of them, at public venue, in the Main Lobby of the Charlevoix County Courthouse, 301 State Street, Charlevoix, Michigan, on July 12, 2013 at 11:00 AM o'clock.

The redemption period shall be 6 months from the date of such sale unless determined abandoned in accordance with 1948CL 600.3241a, in which case the redemption period shall be 30 days from the date of such sale. If the above referenced property is sold at a foreclosure sale under Chapter 600 of the Michigan Compiled Laws, under MCL 600.3278, the borrower will be held responsible to the person who buys the property at the mortgage foreclosure sale or to the mortgage holder for damaging the property during the redemption period.
